Introduction To Laboratory Science

Laboratory Scientists focus on the testing of patient samples. From carrying out urgent blood cross-matching, testing for dangerous diseases to diagnosing cancer.  

There are many career paths which Laboratory Scientists can follow. From Histopathology (looking at tissue samples) to Clinical Biochemistry (diagnosing disease). 

Laboratory Scientists play a major role within the NHS.
