Working within Physiological Science, involves Healthcare Scientists using a range of specialist equipment, advanced technologies and a variety of different procedures to evaluate the function of different systems with the body to diagnose abnormalities.
Working directly with patients, roles within the field may range from carrying out lung function tests to diagnose conditions such as asthma, to using ultrasounds to assess blood flow to help diagnose whether a patient may have had a stroke.
